Janice Harrington
Janice Harrington, born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1942, is an American blues,
gospel, and jazz singer. She began her professional career in 1969 performing
for USO shows, and sang nightly at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hotel from 1975 to
1977. In 1980, she relocated to Norway. Harrington released her debut studio
album, Rockin' the Blues, in 1982 through Norwegian CBS Records, and performed
at Desmond Tutu's Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in 1984. In 1988, she released the
album Double Dynamite with the Kenn Lending Blues Band, and toured with Big Jay
