Jang Pil Soon, born on May 22, 1963 in Seoul, is a South Korean
singer‑songwriter who emerged from the campus folk scene of the early 1980s.
After performing with the creative‑music collective Sunlight Village and the duo
Sori‑Duo‑ul, she began professional session and backing‑vocal work before
releasing her solo debut album Eoneusae in 1989. Her second album, Eoroun Sarang
followed in 1992, establishing her presence in the Korean folk‑rock genre. In
1992, she issued I Don’t Know What to Do, and her 1995 album Haru contained the
