Janet Devlin
A contestant on the eighth season of The X Factor in 2011, Northern Irish singer
Janet Devlin went on to pursue a solo career in pop and folk. Born Janet Maureen
Aoife Devlin in Gortin, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, on November 12, 1994,
she posted her first songs on social networks before auditioning for The X
Factor in 2011. Placing fifth in the eighth season, she took part in the tour
that followed and then focused on her solo career. Assisted by Newton Faulkner
and Jack Savoretti, she recorded her debut album Hide & Seek (2013), produced by
