Jan & Kjeld
Jan & Kjeld, a Danish music duo consisting of brothers Jan Wennick and Kjeld
Wennick, were born on July 27, 1946, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and February 3,
1944, in Gränna, Sweden respectively. Jan & Kjeld gained initial recognition by
winning several singing competitions in Denmark, leading to appearances on radio
and television. In 1959, they signed with Ariola Records and released their
debut single "Tiger Rag", which charted in Germany. Their breakthrough came
later that year with the release of debut album Banjo Boy, which topped the
German charts and earned them a gold record...
