James Blundell, born on December 8, 1964, in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia,
is a country music singer. Raised on a sheep and cattle station, Blundell turned
to music after a back injury. His breakthrough came in 1987 when he was named
Best New Talent at the Country Music Awards of Australia (CMAA), securing a
recording contract with RCA Victor Australia and releasing "Gidgee Bug Pub
