Orlando Jahlil Tucker, known professionally as Jahlil Beats, was born on
February 8, 1988, in Chester, Pennsylvania. He began producing music at age 15
with his brother Anthony. After dropping out of college in 2008, Jahlil Beats
met Meek Mill, leading to a pivotal moment in his career. His breakthrough came
with the production of "Ima Boss" for Meek Mill in 2011, which was later
recognized by Complex as one of the best instrumentals between 2008 and 2013.
