Izrael
Izrael is a Polish reggae band formed in Warsaw in 1983 by Robert Brylewski and
Paweł “Kelner” Rozwadowski. The group became one of the pioneers of reggae in
Poland, making its live debut at Warsaw’s Hybrydy club in April 1983. Their
first studio recordings were made that year and released in 1985 on the debut
album Biada, Biada, Biada, preceded by the single “Rastaman Nie Kłamie.” Izrael
continued with Nabij Faję (1986) and Duchowa Rewolucja Vol. 1 (1987), while
material from the latter sessions was later released as Duchowa Rewolucja Vol. 2
