Ivo Linna
Ivo Linna, born on June 12, 1949, in Kuressaare, Estonia, is a notable Estonian
singer. His music career began with his debut album Ivo Linna released in 1984.
Linna gained international recognition when he represented Estonia alongside
Maarja Liis Ilus at the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 in Oslo with "Kaelakee
Hääl" (The Sound of a Necklace), finishing fifth. He has released numerous
albums, including Las Jääda Kõik, Mis Hea 2 and Enne ja pärast päeva. In 2000,
Linna was decorated by the President of Estonia with a IV Class Order of the
White Star for his contributions to music.
