Isam Bachiri is a Danish rapper, singer, and songwriter of Riffian descent born
on August 1, 1977, in Copenhagen. Known professionally as Isam B, his early
exposure to music occurred through the hip hop scene in the United States. In
1997, he joined Waqas Ali Qadri and Lenny Martinez to form the hip hop ensemble
Outlandish, which incorporated their ethnic heritages and Islamic faith. Bachiri
released the debut solo studio recording Institution (2007) followed by 2200
