Iris was an American synthpop band formed in 1993 by Reagan Jones and Matthew
Morris. Influenced by artists like Erasure and Depeche Mode, they began playing
covers locally in Austin, Texas. Their debut album Disconnect (2000) earned them
Best Band and Best Album awards at the American Synthpop Awards in 2000. After
Morris left, Andrew Sega joined, pushing Iris's sound into a more experimental
electronic direction with albums like Awakening (2003) and Wrath (2005). The
