Irena Santor
Irena Santor, born 9 December 1934 in Papowo Biskupie, Poland, is a Polish pop
singer whose career began in the early 1950s with informal vocal training and
local performances. Her breakthrough came with the 1961 single "Randez Vous",
which launched her into national radio. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s she
released a steady stream of albums, including W krainie piosenki (1963),
Powrócisz Tu (1967), and Na bis (1972), each featuring hit songs such as
"Telegram Miłości" and "Z Tobą Na Zawsze". She remained active into the 2010s,
releasing Santor Cafe (2014) and Zakochana w śnie (...
