Indira Radic
Indira Subotić, also known as Indira Radić, born on June 14, 1966, in
Dragalovci, Serbia, is a Serbian singer of folk, ethno, turbo-folk, pop-folk,
and pop music. Named after Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her father,
Radić began her music career in the early 1990s when she entered an amateur
singing contest that was cancelled due to the Bosnian War. In 1992, she released
her debut album Nagrada i kazna with the band Južni Vetar and moved to Belgrade.
