Akira Inaba is a singer-songwriter born on March 18, 1954, in Odate City, Akita
Prefecture. Known for his lyrical style rooted in folk and new music, as well as
his resonant voice, he won the Best Song Award at the 10th Yamaha Popular Song
Contest in 1975 and the Best Vocal Performance Award at the World Song Festival
that same year. The following year, in 1976, he made his debut with the single
