Ilona Csakova
Ilona Csáková, born Ilona on October 1, 1970, in Cheb, Czech Republic, is a
Czech singer. She started her musical career as a child, singing with the band
Butterflies and learning to play guitar and drums. In 1985, she joined the girl
group Alotrio. At the end of the 1980s, Csáková joined Laura A Její Tygři,
touring internationally before leaving in 1992. She released her debut solo
album, Kosmopolis, in 1993 under Sony Music, and won a Grammy Award for Newcomer
