Il Balletto di Bronzo is an Italian rock group that went from psychedlia to
progressive rock. The group released its debut album Sirio 2222 in 1970, which
blended blues, beat, pop, and psychedelic sounds. In 1972, under the leadership
of keyboardist Gianni Leone, they released their seminal work Ys. The band
disbanded a year later. Gianni Leone later reformed Il Balletto di Bronzo for
international tours, achieving significant success in Italy, Japan, and Mexico.
