The German singer and music producer Matthias Distel, better known by his stage
name Ikke Hüftgold, was born on September 17, 1976 in Limburg an der Lahn.
Between 1993 and 2006, he fronted various rock bands. From 2007, Matthias Distel
mainly writes and produces children's radio plays. After losing a bet, the
artist turned his attention to party hits. His first single, "Saufen ist
Scheiße, doch wir machen's trotzdem" (Drinking is shit, but we'll do it anyway),
was his first hit on Mallorca. From 2009, Ikke Hüftgold performed regularly at
the Bierkönig on the German party island. ...
