II Tru is an American female rap duo from Cleveland, Ohio, composed of Brina and
Jhaz. They were discovered by Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and became part of the Mo
Thugs Family. The duo made their recording debut on Mo Thugs’ platinum-certified
album Family Scriptures (1996), appearing on several tracks. They released their
debut album, A New Breed of Female, in 1997, which reached number 194 on the
Billboard 200 and number 49 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Their final Mo
