IDC
David McCarthy, known professionally as IDC, is an English electronic musician
and DJ from London, England. His debut single, “Scratch” (2004), was championed
by John Peel on his BBC radio show. McCarthy released the debut album Overthrow
The Boss Class (2008), which was recorded in London and Brighton and featured
guest vocals from Martin Andrews of the group Volunteer. The second album, The
Sun Is Always Shining Above The Clouds (2011), included the lead single “Eins
