Ice, an English industrial music band, were formed in 1993 by guitarist Justin
Broadrick and saxophonist/vocalist Kevin Martin. Initially a studio-based
project similar to their other collaboration Techno Animal, Ice recruited
drummer John Jobaggy, bassist Dave Cochrane, and saxophonist/engineer Alex Buess
for their debut album Under the Skin. This release showcased influences from
Godflesh's Pure era and Kevin Martin’s free jazz work with God. In 1995, they
released the EP Quarantine. By 1998, Ice had incorporated hip-hop elements into
their sound for their second album Bad Bloo...
