İbrahim Erkal, born on October 10, 1967, in Narman, Erzurum Province, Turkey,
was a Turkish singer and songwriter. He learned to play the bağlama, mandolin,
and flute during his school years and received formal music training at the Musa
Eroğlu Müzik Eğitim Merkezi in Ankara. Erkal's career breakthrough came with the
release of his album Tutku in 1993 under Ulus Müzik. In 1996, he released
Gönlünüze Talibim, featuring the hit song "Canısı", which also marked his acting
