Hurby's Machine
Hurby Azor, known professionally as Luv Bug, Fingerprints, and Hurby's Machine,
was born in 1965 in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. He is a musician and hip-hop music
producer who gained prominence in the late 1980s and 1990s. Azor's breakthrough
came with the group Salt-N-Pepa, then known as Super Nature, with whom he
recorded "The Show Stoppa" in response to Doug E. Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew's
"The Show". He produced notable artists such as Dana Dane and Sweet Tee. In
1987, Azor, under the name Hurby's Machine, released the compilation The House
