Hudson Bell
Hudson Bell is an American indie rock band based in San Francisco, named after
lead guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Hudson Bell. The group's catalog began
with the solo release Under Boxes and Dirt (1999), followed by Captain of the
Old Girls (2002) and When the Sun is the Moon (2005). When the Sun is the Moon
received a 7.4/10 rating from Pitchfork, which characterized it as a rich and
delicate album. The band later issued Out of the Clouds (2010) and Yerba Buena
(2016), receiving coverage from music publications including Pitchfork and New
Noise Magazine.
