Hubert Lenoir is the stage name of French-Canadian singer-songwriter Hubert Alexis Chiasson, born on August 14, 1994, in Quebec City, Quebec. After releasing an album recorded with his brother under the name The Seasons in 2015, he spent the next couple of years working on his studio debut Darlène, which finally saw the light in 2018. Conceived as a concept album about a suicidal love affair between a young Quebecois woman and an American tourist, the album was released simultaneously with a novel of the same name by Lenoir's partner, writer Noémie D.
