Hradistan
Hradišťan is a Czech musical ensemble founded in 1950 in Uherské Hradiště as a
Zymbalorchester. The group initially focused on folk music and traditional
folklore. Under the leadership of Jiří Pavlica, who took over in 1978, Hradišťan
incorporated influences beyond folk while remaining true to their roots. Their
first album, Hraje a zpívá soubor písní a tanců Hradišťan, was released in 1972.
Over the years, they produced notable albums such as Byla vojna u Slavkova
(1982), Ozvěny duše (1994), and Chvění (2007). The discography includes
