Dwaine Dorough, or Howie D as he is known to his fans, was born in Florida, USA
and rose to fame as a member of Backstreet Boys, the multi-million selling band
best known for hits such as 'I Want It That Way' and 'Shape of My Heart'.
Dorough began singing as a child and in his teens began to develop a singing and
acting career after being discovered by an agent. Initially he was known as
'Tony Donetti', a name given to him by his management company.
In 1993 Dorough, along with Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter and
Dorough's schoolfriend AJ Mclean formed the band...
