Hooni Yongi
Hooni Yongi, a Korean Trot duo consisting of Hooni (Choi Myunghoon) and Yongi
(Kim Minjae), formed in 2011. Hooni debuted as a solo singer in 2002 and later
joined the idol group Giyeok before disbanding in 2008. He met Yongi, who was
working as a travel agent, in 2010 and suggested forming a Trot duo. They
debuted with "1m 1s(1분 1초)" in 2011. Subsequent releases include the EP Remind
(2015) and albums Non-stop 7080 (2016) and Ballad (2018). In January 2021, they
signed with KDH Entertainment, appearing on shows like Gayo Stage and Trot
People.
