Hélène Ségara, whose real name is Hélène Rizzo, was born in Six-Fours-les-Plages
on February 26, 1971. At the age of fifteen, she left her family and her studies
to pursue a career in music. She released her first single, “Loin”, in 1993,
which she performed the following year on the TV show La Chance aux chansons.
She moved to Paris and was taken under the wing of producer Orlando. With his
support, she released *Cœur de Verre*, promoted by the single “Je vous aime
adieu” and, most notably, the duet with Andrea Bocelli, “Vivo Per Lei”, which
reached number one on the French char...
