(Hed) P.E.
Hed PE is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Huntington Beach, California,
by the vocalist Jared Gomes and guitarist Wes Geer. Originally performing under
the name Hed, they released their debut EP, Church of Realities, before legal
issues forced them to change their name to Hed PE. The group signed with Jive
Records and released its self-titled debut studio album, Hed PE, in 1997,
blending gangsta rap and punk rock. Their second studio album, Broke, was
released on August 22, 2000 and peaked at number 63 on the Billboard 200 chart.
