Heaven Shall Burn
Heaven Shall Burn is a German metalcore / melodic death metal band formed in
1995 in Saalfeld, Thuringia. Formed by guitarist Maik Weichert with his
counterpart Michael Hartmann and drummer Matthias Voigt, the band underwent a
number of changes before recording its debut album Asunder (1998), with singer
Marcus Bischoff and his brother Eric Bischoff on bass, while Hartmann was
replaced by Patrick Schleitzer on guitar. After a debut album that laid the
foundations of their style, blending post-hardcore, metal and death metal
influences, Heaven Shall Burn followed up with Whatever ...
