Headline, a French progressive metal band from Paris, was formed in 1992 under
the name Escape. They released their debut album, Escape, in 1997, featuring
Sylvie Grare on vocals. The album garnered critical acclaim and nominations for
"best international prospect," "best French group," and "best voice." In 1998,
they embarked on an acoustic tour with FNAC, leading to the release of Escape
Thru the Lands. Their second album, Voices of Presence, was released in 1999
