Haysi Fantayzee were a British pop and new wave band formed in 1981, emerging
from the Blitz Kids street arts scene in London. The group comprised Jeremy
Healy on vocals, Kate Garner on vocals, and Paul Caplin on keyboards. Haysi
Fantayzee gained initial attention by sending video performances with their demo
tapes to record companies, a novel approach at the time. Their debut single
"John Wayne Is Big Leggy" was released in 1982, followed by "Holy Joe" (1982)
