Julia Hayley Sales, known professionally as Hayley Sales, and born on August 31,
1990, in Washington D.C., United States, is a singer-songwriter who grew up
surrounded by music due to her father's work as a musician and sound engineer.
Sales' first major breakthrough came with the release of her debut album Sunseed
in 2008, which included the singles "Keep Drivin" and "What You Want". These
songs reached number 11 on the Japan Hot 100 and number 45 on the Canadian Hot
100. In 2008, she won Best Mainstream Artist at the Canadian Radio Music Awards.
