Hassisen Kone, a Finnish rock band from Joensuu, was formed in December 1979
with an original lineup consisting of Ismo Alanko, Reijo Heiskanen, Jussi
Kinnunen, and Harri Kinnunen. The group initially gained recognition for their
new wave punk sound and won the New Wave competition at the Rock SM Cup in Oulu
in 1980. Their debut single "Hassisen kone" was released that same year,
followed by their first album Täältä tullaan Venäjä. In 1981, Hassisen Kone
