Harry Williams was an American filmmaker, actor, and composer born on August 23,
1879, in Faribault, Minnesota. He studied at the University of Minnesota and
began his career as a songwriter and actor. Williams wrote and produced comedies
for Keystone and Triangle studios. His filmography featured a chimpanzee named
Snooky, who appeared in several of his productions. His work as a director
included The Great Vacuum Robbery (1915), His First False Step (1916), Bucking
Society (1916), and The Late Lamented (1917). Between 1920 and 1922, he directed
