Harry Brandelius was an easy listening pop singer from Sweden who became very
popular in his homeland and with Swedes who lived in America for albums and
single recordings that frequently had seafaring themes. Among them were 'En
Sjöman älskar Havets Våg' ('A Sailor Loves the Wave of the Sea') in 1937, 'Han
Hade Seglat För om Masten' ('He Sailed Before the Mast') in 1938 and 'Nordsjön'
('North Sea') in 1944.
