It's Only Rock'n'Roll, as The Rolling Stones proclaimed, is the title of the
debut album by Swedish quartet Hardcore Superstar. This debut, followed three
years later by Bad Sneakers and a Pina Colada, set the stage for a string of
successful albums in the Nordic glam hard rock department. The Gothenburg-based
band conquered Europe and the United States with a string of opening acts
(AC/DC, Motörhead) and festival dates. In 2005, the album Hardcore Superstar saw
the band return to their roots and the label of their beginnings, Gain Records.
