Happoradio
Finnish alternative rock band Happoradio was formed in Helsinki in 2001. It
comprises musicians Aki Tykki (vocals, guitar), Mika Haapasalo (guitar), Jatu
Motti (bass), Klaus Suominen (keyboards) and Markku DeFrost (drums). Influenced
by indie rock and 1990s grunge, Happoradio scored their first hit in 2003 with
"Pois Kalliosta", taken from their debut album Asemalla, which reached No. 24 in
the local charts. Further successes followed with the albums Pienet ja
keskisuuret elämät (No. 28 in 2004), Vuosipäivä (No. 23 in 2006) and the
following number ones, Kaunis minä (2008), Puoli...
