Hani Adnan Al-Bader, born in 1993 in the United States, is an American DJ and
electronic music producer known as Hani. He began DJing in Kuwait as a teenager,
recording cassette mixes before relocating to Denver for college where he
purchased synthesizers and drum machines from pawn shops and learned to produce
acid house tracks for labels such as Planet‑e and Yoshitoshi. His breakthrough
came in 1999 with the single "Baby Wants to Ride", which topped the US Billboard
