HanaHana, a Japanese musical duo consisting of Izumi Kojima and Makiko Ono,
formed in 1998. The duo, who composed their own songs and played piano and
keyboards, debuted with the single "Kotatsu To Te Gani No Maki" in November
1998. Their breakthrough came with the release of their second album 2 Souls in
October 2000, which peaked at Number two on the Oricon charts. The album spawned
two top-10 singles: "Sayonara Daisuki Na Hito" and "Ah Yokatta (setagaya mix)".
