Haircut 100, a British new wave/jazz-funk group, was formed in Beckenham,
London, by Nick Heyward, Les Nemes, and Graham Jones. The band's origins date
back to 1980 when Heyward and Nemes, who had previously played together in
several bands since 1977, moved to London and recruited Jones. After a
brainstorming session for band names, they settled on Haircut One Hundred. The
group initially included drummer Patrick Hunt but later replaced him with Blair
