German music group Haindling, founded in 1982 by Hans-Jürgen Buchner, originated
from Haindling, a district of Geiselhöring in Lower Bavaria. Buchner, who was a
potter by profession, began composing his own music after finding the available
options unappealing. His initial recordings were made using a multi-track
cassette recorder and performed live with his wife Ulrike Böglmüller in local
pubs. The group's breakthrough came when Buchner met singer Kevin Coyne, leading
