Hadag Nahash, an Israeli hip hop/funk band, was formed in 1996 in Jerusalem. The
group's name translates to "the snake-fish" and is also an anagram of the Hebrew
phrase "Nahag Jadash," meaning "New Driver." Their debut album, Hamechona Shel
Hagroove ("The Groove Machine"), was released in 2000, featuring notable tracks
like "Lo Mevater" and "Af Ehad." The band gained significant traction with their
