Gustavo Santaolalla (born August 19, 1951 in the suburbs of Buenos Aires) went
on to guide artists such as Café Tacvba and Juanes. After several solo albums,
including the acclaimed Ronroco in 1998, Gustavo Santaolalla specialized in
instrumentals for film scores. He was involved in such landmark films as Amours
Chiennes (2000) and 21 Grammes (2003). He won the Oscar for Best Film Score
