Guillermo Anderson (born February 26, 1962) was a Honduran singer-songwriter and
composer from La Ceiba. Known for merging Afro-Caribbean percussion with punta
and reggae, Anderson studied literature and music at the University of
California, Santa Cruz, graduating in 1986. While in the United States, he
performed with the trio Now and worked with the professional theater company El
Teatro de la Esperanza. After returning to Honduras in 1987, Anderson co-founded
