Grupo Balacobaco is a Rio de Janeiro-based pagode group formed in 2008 in the
suburban samba circuit of the city, drawing from the traditional rodas de samba
of neighborhoods like Lapa and the Centro Cultural Cartola. The group is
composed of Bombom (banjo and vocals), Júnior Itaguaí (cavaquinho and vocals),
Riquinho (reco and vocals), Gegê D'Angola (guitar), Azeitona (tantã), Feijão
(percussion), Vinicinhus (surdo), and Orelha (pandeiro). In 2010, they recorded
their debut CD, which produced the tracks "Tá Pensando Que Eu Tô De Bobeira,"
