Greg Cohen
Greg Cohen is an American jazz bassist. He has worked in traditional jazz and
other styles with artists including Ken Peplowski, Kenny Davern, Marty Grosz,
and Woody Allen, as well as with Tom Waits, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, Elvis
Costello, and John Zorn. Cohen was a member of John Zorn’s Masada quartet and
has released albums as a leader, including Way Low (1996), Moment To Moment
(1998), and Golden State (2014). He has also contributed to recordings across
genres, such as Tom Waits’ Heartattack and Vine, David Byrne’s Feelings, and
