Formed by brothers Calvin and Remus Choy and fellow singer Edmond So during
their school years, Hong Kong pop trio Grasshopper went on to officially
crystallise their status as a band in 1985. Placing second in the New Talent
Singing Awards the same year, the Cantonese-speaking group impressed judge Anita
Mui enough to be invited into her posse as supporting musicians, appearing
onstage as backing singers and dancers at her live shows. Enjoying their
newfound exposure, the group promptly penned a self-titled debut album, which
