Goran Kajfes
Goran Kajfeš, born on June 22, 1970, in Tyresö, Sweden, is a Swedish jazz
trumpeter. He began playing the trumpet at age ten, initially focusing on
classical music before transitioning to jazz. Between 1993 and 1995, Kajfeš
studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. His debut album Home
was released in 2001. Following this, he released Headspin, which won the
Swedish Grammis for Best Jazz Album of 2004. Kajfeš's third album X / Y (2010)
received critical acclaim, earning Jazz Album of the Year from The Independent
