Gong Linna (龚琳娜), born 1 August 1975 in Guiyang, Guizhou, is a Chinese singer
known for blending traditional melodies with contemporary lyricism. She began
her musical education at the Secondary School Affiliated to China Conservatory
of Music in 1992, studying national vocal music under Zou Wenqin before
enrolling at the China Conservatory of Music after graduation. Gong Linna gained
