Gloria Trevi, real name Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz, was born on February
5, 1968 in Monterrey, Mexico. The "supreme diva of Mexican pop" made her debut
in 1985 with the all-girl group Boquitas Pintadas. After the group split up
three years later, she went solo, releasing the pop-rock-tinged album ¿Qué Hago
Aquí? in 1989 , produced by Sergio Andrade. It reached number one in Mexico and
spawned four chart-topping hits: "Dr. Psiquiatra", "El Último Beso", "¿Qué Voy a
Hacer Sin Él?" and "Mañana". Two more albums followed in 1991 and 1992, Tu Ángel
